Michele Wright, MA, LPC, ASDCS

Michele is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. She offers psychotherapy services for individuals aged 6 and older, incorporating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). As an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), she specializes in supporting the neurodiverse population and their families.

 Her goal is to help clients discover their best selves through client-centered, strength-based, and existential therapies, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.   Clients come to Michele when they or their children encounter challenges in personal relationships, or when they experience stress, depression, anxiety, or difficulties related to ADHD or ASD. Often, they have been struggling for a long time, seeking relief, answers, and a non-judgmental space.

Her approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. She believes in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and valued. Each person's journey is unique, and Michele's goal is to support them in discovering their best selves through a personalized, holistic approach.

Through diverse approaches, she strives to support clients in navigating their challenges, building resilience, and achieving their fullest potential. Her ultimate goal is to help clients lead more fulfilling, balanced, and empowered lives.

Michele is married and the mother of two adult children. As a native Houstonian, she has lived within an hour of downtown Houston her entire life and has been a resident of Katy for the past 11 years. She is also a proud 9th-generation Texan.
